Bees Wax Wrap - Eco Friendly Product

100% Natural

Beezy Wrap beeswax wrap is an environmentally friendly alternative to throw-away single-use plastic wraps and baggies.  Say NO to plastic!

Made from simple ingredients: 100% cotton, beeswax, organic jojoba oil, cinnamon oil and tree resin.

Beezy Wrap Beeswax wraps are non-toxic, biodegradable and sustainable.

Reusable & hand washable.  Will last many months with proper care.

The Basics

The warmth of your hands causes the beeswax to become pliable.  The  beeswax wrap will stick to itself to provide a clean and protective seal.  When placed in the fridge the beeswax hardens retaining the shape and sealing in the goodness.  A return to room temperature will soften it.

Wash & Reuse!!

Care

Hand-wash in COLD water and eco-friendly dish soap.

After use, simply rinse in cold water – hot water will reduce the wax coating –  (avoid alcohol based soaps).

In COLD water the beeswax coating will be stiff, providing a stable surface to clean.  Your Beezy Wrap washes like a plate, not a piece of fabric.

Once clean you can either hang to dry or use a towel to pat dry and re-use immediately.  Do not wring.

Reusable?  Oh YES they are!!

After use, simply rinse in cold water – hot water will weaken the wax coating – you can wash with an eco-friendly soap (avoid alcohol based soaps).  Once clean you can either hang to dry or use a towel to pat dry and re-use immediately.  Do not wring.

Storing

Roll or fold and keep in with your other food packaging, in a drawer or where-ever you find convenient.

Cheese

Remove cheese from the original packaging it came in and wrap it in a Beezy Wrap beeswax wrap.

Fruit ∗ Vegetables ∗ Left-Overs and Lunches

Form Beezy Wrap beeswax wrap around the cut side of your avocado, cucumbers, tomatoes, melons, onions and pretty much any fruit or vegetable you need to keep.

The coating is fluid resistant, so moisture will not leak through the actual fabric.

Frozen food

In the freezer for short-term… 30 days or less!  They are not recommended for uncooked meat.

What Shouldn’t They Be Used For?

Avoid uncooked meats; long term freezer use (more than a month) and microwaves (the beeswax will melt into your food).  If you must use with meat, place the meat in a dish, then cover and store in the refrigerator.  We suggest avoiding direct contact with raw meat.

Avoid prolonged contact with oily or greasy foods.

Beezy Wrap is NOT suitable for the dishwasher, microwave oven, direct heat or high temperatures.

Stains and creases are normal

All materials used are natural so some deeply pigmented foods may slightly discolour your Beezy Wrap.  You can minimize staining by rinsing in cold water shortly after food has been removed. We think that adds character to the wraps! (and a little character will not alter the function of your beeswax wrap)
